Terms & conditions

  • These terms and conditions apply to any bookings for events and services made with Beer with Ben (we/us), and your (you) use of the website and digital channels
  • Before making any booking or enquiries you should read through these terms and conditions. By using www.beerwithben.co.uk or making any booking or enquiry, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms and conditions

Booking an event

  • Bookings shall remain provisional and are not guaranteed until confirmed
  • All bookings require a lead booker, through which the booking shall be made. We will not be held liable for any mistakes that arise from communication with others in the booking party
  • Confirmation is only possible once the number of attendees and the location of the event have been confirmed by you, and the deposit has been paid. Only after confirmation will an event be secured for your booking
  • A deposit of 40% of the total amount quoted will be due on booking, this is non-refundable if you cancel the event. If we cancel the event then you will be entitled to a full refund of monies paid, unless the cancellation is due to circumstances beyond our control or you do not pay deposits or final payments when required. Liability is limited to monies paid and any additional costs such as travel or accommodation will not be reimbursed
  • Payment of all remaining monies is due no later than 7 days before the date of the event. In the event of non-payment Beer with Ben reserve the right to cancel the event
  • Amendments to group size or attendees may be possible, but you should let us know as soon as possible as there may be limits imposed by the venue. In the case of a reduction in attendees this may result in the loss of deposit for those individuals, and depending on the event the full amount may still be due

Consumption of alcohol

  • Whilst alcohol features in all of our events, we strongly encourage sensible drinking. We make all attendees aware of the beers and their abv, recommended intakes and that by participating in the event they will be unfit to drive afterwards
  • No attendee will be admitted to an event if they appear to be intoxicated
  • Any attendee appearing below 25 will be required to provide ID in the form of a passport or driving license. In events where the majority of attendees will likely be below 25 then all are asked to bring ID. This requirement is explained to the event organiser/hirer at the time of booking, as attendees will not be admitted if they cannot produce ID when requested and will not be entitled to a refund
  • For safety reasons, attendees are not allowed to consume their own alcohol during an event
  • If, for any reason an attendee does not wish to consume alcohol then, with advance notice, we can provide soft drinks instead. All tables are provided with water as standard
  • Sales of alcohol to attendees (for consumption on or off the premises) are only possible when the premises’ licence permits it

Food and allergies

  • It is your responsibility to notify us of any allergies or special dietary requirements that you or any of your attendees may have. Where possible, we will make arrangements to cater for these

  • The seating, facilities and safety procedures will vary depending on venue, these are explained to attendees at the start of the event
  • All equipment used is for display purposes only, and at no point are attendees to use the computer, demonstration or projection equipment
